Their ongoing relationship/promisedship/2 year waiting session! SAYING GOODBYE! August 16 was the final goodbye, our last conversation before Daniel got set apart to be ELDER WILLIS! Sad maybe, but actually, it felt good to let him go and be a worthy missionary. Just seeing him grow these last 8 months has been great. We can both say that we enjoyed every moment we spent together, even if we saw each other only 23 days. Some say long distance and short seen relationships can be hard, and it was a challenge - but it was wonderful. Absolutely wonderful. So I may have 800 days to wait for him, but I am more than willing. I'm looking forward to the gifts it can bring to wait patiently. It was an interesting last conversation, one filled with Chinese Static and what not, but it ended in scriptural messages, and the final mutual phrase: I'll see you in white.
